Ecuador soccer teama major victory at World Cup 2014 in Brazil. In Curitiba, the striker scored two goals against
Hondurastwo goals and kept his team thus in the race for a place in the second round.
After half an hour, Carlo Costly opened the score for the Honduran soccer team. It was the first goal of Honduras at a
World Cuptournament after 32 years.

|The Central Americans could not enjoy their happiness for long, because only five minutes later Enner Valencia tied the score: 1-1.
Just before half time, Honduras came close to a new lead.
Costly headed against the crossbar. The rebound by Jerry Bengtson was in, but the Honduran soccer player scored by hand, so received a yellow card instead of a goal.
After the break, Valencia headed the winning goal for the Ecuadorians into the cage of Honduras: 1-2. His third goal during World Cup 2014 makes him joint leading scorer of the tournament.
Everything is possible in
In the final group match, Ecuador meets France, which has six points and is in possession of a great goal difference (8 for, 2 against). Honduras will play against Switzerland. On Friday, the Swiss lost against France (5-2), but still have a good chance of an entry into the second round.
Even Honduras still has a chance, but they should win against Switzerland with a great goal difference and hope that France beats Ecuador at the same time.
