Travelling Brazil --- An enchanting destination...
Most people who hear the word '
Brasil' will think about skilled soccer, extravagant
Carnivaland delicious coffee...
But wait, Brazil has so much more to offer than endless
beachesand sensual bossa nova tunes...
At the same time, Brazil is stunningly pretty, pleasantly chaotic and incredibly poor, although this poverty coexists along enormous wealth.
‘Diversity’ is the one word to describe this huge country. Welcome to a vibrant, enchanting and infinitely complicated world... Brasil !
Brazil can be divided in 5 regions, each with its own history, customs, landscapes and opportunities. Southern and South-eastern Brazil, with among others urban giants Sao Paulo and
Rio de Janeiro, has a remarkable European feel but also stunning nature. In the northeast a beautiful coastline, dotted with pretty well-preserved colonial cities and a colourful Afro-Brazilian culture is awaiting.
Finally, the immense interior of the Central West and the North has also much to offer. The contemporary capital Brasilia and two of the largest ecosystems in the world: The Amazon basin in the North and The Pantanal in Central Western Brazil.
Travelling in Brazilis a delight, despite the vast distances. The country has an extensive network of roads, waterways and flight connections. If you stay on the beaten path, tourist infrastructure is generally more than adequate, although also in this field there is a great diversity available, from rather basic to very comfortable.
Yet diversity is Brazil’s main attraction: cosmopolitan cities, perfect beaches, unspoiled eco destinations, vibrant festivals, a quiet countryside, delicious food, great options for outdoor activities and lovely historical landmarks...
Different smells, different faces, different colours and different experiences are lurking around every corner: the country has not something for everyone... Brasil has it all for everyone!
