Expensive FIFA watches will help Street soccer in Brazil

Ethics Committee of FIFA has reclaimed dozens of expensive watchesfrom several soccer bigwigs. These watches will be sold and the profits go to the organization
Street Football World, FIFA reported this week.
FIFA officials were given the
precious Parmigiani wristwatchesof over 20,000 euros each (US$ 22,000) by the Brazilian soccer federation before the start of the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
The Ethics Committee intervened; under the Code of conduct of FIFA the big shots should not have accepted luxury gifts.
A total of 65 watches were to be given away, but some officials received no watches.
Eventually the Ethics Committee could recover 48 watches from the soccer bosses. The international nonprofit organization Street Football World is going to sell the watches and will invest the money in several initiatives of
